Brooke's reflection on City Government Day

Today I learned a lot about our local government. I really enjoyed touring the power plant. I've lived in Fremont all of my life and I've never been in it. It's really cool how everyone has to be working together and communicating to keep Fremont with power. Our lunch with the city heads was very interesting and I learned a lot from them. The mock city council went very well. I think that everyone (presenters, city council members, citizens for or against an issue) did very well and was prepared for it. I'm glad I got to learn so much about our government.
