YLA November 27th

On this day I thought that touring the box factory was interesting and fun to tour. I also thought that Ron Tillery had a great presentation with the videos about Fremont, they were interesting and I learned that we had commercial type videos for Fremont!

Education Day - Madeline Brown

Education day was very fun.  I really enjoyed the Dale Carnegie session and listening to Mr. Shepard speak.  I also enjoyed touring the campuses of Midland and Metro.  However, my favorite part of the day was having the opportunity to learn some rules of proper etiquette from Sally Ganem.  Also, the food was delicious.  I'm excited for out next meeting.

Education Day

I enjoyed education day! I liked the Dale Carnegie training and the tour of Midland.  My favorite part of the day though was the etiquette lunch with Sally Ganem.  She was so nice and funny and I felt like I learned a lot from her!

I really enjoyed education day.  I had a great time touring Midland and Metro., especially since I won a free sweatshirt!  My favorite part of the day was the etiquette lunch with the First Lady Sally Ganem; her stories were wonderful and the food was great.  I am looking forward to the upcoming session! - McKenzie Brown

Education Day

I thought education day was unique. There's many possibilities of great education in Fremont. I got to learn more about the education opportunities in Fremont. I really enjoyed the luncheon. It was my favorite part. I also liked the Midland campus tour. The Dale Carnegie session was very helpful. I can apply what I learned in that session to help myself become a great leader. I had a great experience on Education day!

Education Day taught me many new things such as public speaking, getting my point across, and lunch etiquette! I really enjoyed the lunch with the First Lady Sally Ganem because she was very entertaining and the food was amazing!  - McKenna Hotovy

Youth Leadersip Academy

I really enjoyed the formal luncheon with First Lady Sally Ganem.  The luncheon was interesting because I gained an increased awareness of what to expect in a fine dining experience. The tours of Midland and Metro opened my eyes to what I want to see when I go to college.

Education Day

I really enjoyed eating lunch with Sally Ganem, and all of the stories she had to share with us. I had fun time visiting Midland and Metro. It really made me start thinking about my future education. Mark Shepard's presentation was also very entertaining.

YLA Education Day

The education day for the academy I felt was very informative. I'm excited to begin our group project that we chose at the beginning of the day. I also enjoyed learning the rudiments for proper etiquette with Sally Ganem. The tours of the higher-level education institutions, Midland and Metro, established a new path of thought for my education. Overall, the day was enjoyable and I look forward to our next meeting.

YLA education day

I thought that the lunch with Sally Ganem was very fun! It was my favorite to hear the stories she had to tell. Also it was nice when Mr. Shepard talked that he related his topics to things we could understand instead of just reading off a PowerPoint, so I liked his presentation as well.

Education Day

I really enjoyed touring Midland and Metro to get a jest of what the college atmosphere is like. I appreciated the opportunity to have lunch with First Lady, Sally Ganem, and hear about her personal experiences and situations that she has been in. I also liked the Dale Carnegie portion of the morning because it gave me a chance to step out of my comfort zone and improve my communication skills.
