I had a really fun time at the hospital and the YMCA.  I learned lots of things at the YMCA that I did not know before.  The tour of the hospital was very neat.  My favorite stop on the tour was the cardiac catheterization lab.  I also learned about different things about the the hospital that were interesting to me.  I can not wait for the next YLA meeting

City Gov't Day:

I thought that the Mock City Council Meeting was very interesting.  It gave me an insight into our city government and how the processes work.  Also I think that touring the Power Plant was cool to be able to see how all of Fremont is supplied with electricity.

Health, Welness, & Quality of Life Day:  

Health and Wellness day was a lot of fun.  I thought that it was fun to be able to participate in the Tai Chi class at the YMCA and to learn about all of the different activities that they offer there.  Going to the Hospital was also a fun experience, I liked going on the tour and being able to see a behind the scenes look of what goes on in the Hospital.

Health, Wellness, & Quality of Life Day-Bryant

The health day was the best day of Youth Leadership so far for me. I really enjoyed touring the cardiac cath lab. It was really cool to see all the modern technology. Touring the imaging center was also awesome because I've never been in there. The Y and tai chi were really fun as well. Some of those tai chi moves were tough!

Brooke - Health, Wellness & Quality of Life

Today was one of my favorite days. It was interesting to learn about the YMCA and all the work that goes into it. I was also very interested in the projects they had coming up and how those were going to effect our community. I liked going to the hospital and learning about a few of the many programs going on there. My favorite part was the radiation area. I'm looking forward to the Ag day at the end of the month.

City Government Day - Nathan

I learned lots from being apart of the mock city council meeting.  It was very fun to be able to freely voice my opinion about a topic involving the city.  I am looking forward to our next meeting on health and wellness.
