First Day of YLA

The first session of YLA was a great experience and I liked how we got to tour places in our community that I didn't know the most about. I'm looking forward to the rest of the year!

Education day

I enjoyed touring midland and metro at this session. The midland people were really chill. Eating with the governors wife was fun and all the food was amazing. I especially enjoyed learning how to communicate better with the dale carnige people.

First day of YLA

I thought it was an eye opener as to what Fremont has to offer for those in need.  I did not realize we have several opportunities to help those who struggle daily.  The people that work in these places are special people to have to want to make others successful even though they come from a rough life.  The Care Core and Jefferson House were my favorite to tour and I thought I learned a lot from both of the places.
The first day was very unique and eye opening, I never realized how much volunteer work it took to run the few organizations that we visited. I was very proud to see how much volunteer work our town does to help the less fortunate. The Jefferson house really made me think about how fortunate I am to have the things I have and do be where I am today. Can't wait for the next session to learn all kinds of new things.

First Day of YLA

I was suprised and encouraged by how many services there are for people in need in Fremont.  The Jefferson House feminded me of how fortunated I am.

The first day was a lot of fun. I learned some new things that will help me become the leader that I want to be. My favorite part was actually getting to see what the Jefferson House and Care Corps was actually like. I found the whole day to be very interesting and I am looking forward to the session.

Orientation and Community & Social Services

I found the first day of YLA to be interesting as well as entertaining.  The guys from Dale Carnegie made it a fun time as well as teaching me some important skills.  I enjoyed the first session and can't wait to learn more about our community and how to be a leader.
