Brooke's post on the Business & Economic Development Day

Today was very interesting. I definitely learned a lot about business and what it takes to be successful in a career field like that. I really enjoyed the tour at Rosenbauer. I'm a big fan of Transformers so it was really cool to see how they build something like that. The working lunch was also cool. It was interesting to see that the Tribune does much more than just publishing news papers. I enjoyed hearing what the council members and the city planner think of our projects and I'm looking forward to completing them for next month.

Nathan's Post About the Day of Service

I really enjoyed helping out all of the people at the Salvation Army load up the carts.  I also enjoyed ringing bells with each of our groups for the project.  Being able to help other people in the community that are less fortunate that I am makes me feel good about myself that I was able to make other people's day.

Education Day-Bryant

The education day was another excellent leadership day. Doing the leadership challenge provided me with a knowledge of where others see my leadership strengths and weaknesses. Knowing what my weaknesses were this helped me to know what I should improve on. The panel discussion was a great way for leaders in education to tell us what it takes to become a leader in education. The etiquette lunch was very informal as I did not know some of the stuff taught. Touring the college and sitting in on the communications course gave me a peak at what college life is like. I cannot wait until our next day.

I had lots of fun ringing bells at Gordmans and helping assist at the Salvation Army Joy Shop. Looking forward to the next meeting.

Emily's Reflection on the Education Day

I thought that the Education Day was fun.  I really liked how we used our phones to complete the survey.  Also touring the campus was an interesting experience and it allowed me to see what the college environment was like.  I look forward to the next leadership day.
