The getting to know our community day was one of my favorite days. I am extremely interested in history and it was cool to hear about the roots of our city and how it came to be. Seeing the May Museum is something that I will never forget about!

I thought that the agriculture day was  very interesting. It allowed me to see things that I probably never would've gotten a chance to see, like Hormels. Also it was cool to see the agriculture side of our community and to realize how much of an impact that it has on our daily lives.

Nathan's post on the Getting to Know Your Community Day

I learned many new things about Fremont's history.  The tour of the Fremont Opera House was very interesting.  Touring downtown was neat as well even though it was really hot out.  I really liked the power-point on all the haunted sites in Fremont.  I really enjoyed my time being apart of Youth Leadership Academy.  I also learned new leadership skills that  I will be able to apply later on in my life.
